April in the north of England is noted for rain showers but it's now the 8th and we have had none yet

We have had a dry week, no rain at all. Temperatures during the day 60 ish, acceptable for the time of year, but by 7pm it's down to 40

My GOODNESS. I'm about tired of WIND RAIN & TORNADO warnings. STILL more to come today & tomorrow. I feel so bad for these folks. It's horrible.

We had 32 this am. Our days are cool this week -- I still like Fall the best - BUT ya can't beat the May flowers!

We're going up and down. Mid 60s, then mid 70s, then down to mid 60s again then in the low 80s next week.

Dry and bright here in the north of England. Rarely gets up as high as 50 degrees though and early morning is less than 40

Ours is similar, Gis. Shame as I was just getting used to (and liking) the warmer stuff

Don't like hearing that! We want some big trees where we move. Don't need them blowing down on our house!Originally posted by 4AMNTN View PostWhoa! That's some wind! I bet it would be nice to travel in Australia ~ it was in our Bucket List until Steve Irwin passed. And now we just don't want to fly any more.
We had terrible winds Tuesday thru — now it's still windy! We have some clapboards that are off.
Stay safe y'all

Wow! When we get wind like that, we get fires. That's what happened here 2 months ago. From what I hear, Australia gets fires the way we do, but 40 inches of rain in a few hours? That's insane! It would take us 3 or 4 years to get 40" of rain with average rainfall. We're well below average this winter, but we're starting to catch up here in March.Originally posted by YB View PostMy son lives in Brisbane and they are expecting horrendous weather tomorrow. Winds approaching 100 mph and 40 inches of rain in a few hours.
Here in the UK it's started raining Thursday evening but we have had 4 pleasant days, some sun and nearly 60 degrees
