Winds have been strong but not as bad as feared. There have been a couple of fires but they got jumped on right away and didn't get big enough to take off. It's beautiful right now. 75F and calm.

Big storm coming this weekend, 80mph

Got another big fire (nearly 10,000 acres so far) with this round of wind, but it's burning in a lightly populated area for now. Smaller fires down in the San Diego area too.

Got another extreme wind event kicking in in a few hours. We've had four of these since October and three have resulted in big fires, with the last one being the worst obviously.

YB: If we don't have to get out in it - I enjoy the cold, snow, we IMG_8285.jpg t ... hot chocolate - chili - homemade soups -- YUM! But I do miss my summer BLT's!
