Dan!! wow that's late! and how nice to commit to walking every night! Lucky little dog. Any news on Chuck I 'm almost afraid to ask each year 'cause I don't know much about Turtles - hey there's a song there!

Chuck came out a couple of weeks ago when the weather was nice, but things got rainy and cool again and he dug back in. This week is pretty nice so we might see him again, but then we're supposed to get an inch or two of rain again this weekend, so I don't know.

We had another winter of above average rainfall here in the Los Angeles Basin area of Southern California. Historically we average 14"-15" but this year we're pushing 20" and we may still have a storm or two left in the season. It's too soon to say it's done. That said, I walk our dog at night before bed, usually between 10:30pm and 11:30pm. There's MAYBE a total of 1 1/2 to 2 weeks of nights all winter where we can't get out and walk due to rainy weather. It's never too cold and it never snows.

Brighter and warmer, but, still quite windy

Parcel up some of that "beautiful", Fours and send it over to the north of England. We are still on cold, wet & windy

Beautiful again today- our cherry tree & Bradford Pears are blooming- the buttercups & daffodils & redbuds are out- we always look for them THEN u know Spring is here!

Yep, i walk both my dogs twice a day, morning and early evening.
Frosty start to today's walk so still well wrapped up

YB - that's funny! Gis that's great that u walk ur dog! It's so good for them & a bonding thing - 'course dog owners know that - some just can't "do it". Lucky dog

Daylight is far better, the night dog walk is now done in the daylight too, still averaging 40 degrees so we are getting into spring soon

Cold, wet and windy. But of course this is the north of England in February so we aren't really surprised.

March 1st tomorrow so expecting (hoping) for an improvement.

Clap indeed! It was 71 yesterday & last night 30 — wow!! Looking forward to warmer Spring weather

Hard frost in the past couple of mornings, however, not today, will be just above freezing by a few degrees, what we call sharp and fresh air
