Yeah not so happy now. Been without power for over 24 hours. Gas logs & generator- but it's still 58-62 in the house. ICE! Everywhere

Oh, you DO have a generator. We just have gas logs. We closed the doors to our extra bedrooms and my office. Our living room stayed above 68, but we have a single story so I'm sure that helped. Kept the faucets going with a very thin flow. Did y'all have frost quakes over in Burns? We had frost quakes over here, plus the attic beams made noises we'd never heard before, due to, I guess, the snow and ice load. It's been interesting for us recovering Californians!

Woo hoo y'all! We have snow! it started about 8 and now almost 2 hours later - bigger flakes & it's still steady.

I'm afraid that's true. Days & days.... we have gas logs but I don't think we've used them in 10 years. We have a generator - we stocked up a "few" things - not enough tho. All our flashlights are charged, the phones, tablets, and power chargers... we can always go out to the car. Not only for charging but for heat & the use of the 'net. OH, and YT for a video or movie ...

GIS! look at what we have in store for the next week

The weather is pulling out all the stops for our first winter here in Tennessee. I sure hope they're wrong about the freezing rain. It's going to so much harder to keep power going if we get a record breaking ice storm.

Lordy it's cold we've convinced our new neighbor (from FL) to board her horses during this time.

OH NO! oh that's awful. (what a story to tell). I've heard for years while washing him use tomato juice? Yep a skunk has only one real enemy -- a car. It's supposed to snow Thursday night I think - woo hoo!

It finally got cold again. That's good, because skunk smell is worse when the weather is hot and humid. Yes, our dog got sprayed by a skunk last night when I took him out for a last potty run. Had to give him two baths before I could go to bed.

GIS it's gonna be 71 today not fun. Ice isn't fun either tho.

We have had a fair amount of snow, doesn't usually stay given the salty air on the coast, but, it's so cold it's frozen
