The weather is pulling out all the stops for our first winter here in Tennessee. I sure hope they're wrong about the freezing rain. I'm afraid that's true. Days & days.... we have gas logs but I don't think we've used them in 10 years. We have a generator - we stocked up a "few" things - not enough tho. All our flashlights are charged, the phones, tablets, and power chargers... we can always go out to the car. Not only for charging but for heat & the use of the 'net. OH, and YT for a video or movie ...

Woo hoo y'all! We have snow! it started about 8 and now almost 2 hours later - bigger flakes & it's still steady.

Yeah not so happy now. Been without power for over 24 hours. Gas logs & generator- but it's still 58-62 in the house. ICE! Everywhere
