    Oh my that's so scary. I feel so bad for those families. Such QUICK - thing.

    I'm off for a few days - South. I'll be driving very close to ur house. Anyone out there doing anything interesting on these beautiful Fall days?

    Dan - did u know that the plant that exploded was within 60 miles of u? "by the way the crow flies" prolly closer. Sad, very sad.

    Walking stick insects are fascinating, and they're a good example of the unique insects found in different regions.

    OH MG. if you've ever seen what their bite can do -- well I'm terrified. We've had MANY in this house. It was empty 2 years before we moved in, built in 1968...we don't if it was that or new landscaping, new garage that we built or turning the attached garage into a den. After 2 years BAM! SOMETHING ...

    We've heard stories about the brown recluse spiders. Our neighbor was just telling my wife tonight about finding more than a dozen recently when he was cleaning his windows (his AC was out for a couple of days, so he opened his windows).

    Love the Y'all!!!Kevin would have fainted on the spot. Those & snakes. The worst thing for me are spiders, wolf spiders. PLEASE be aware of Brown Recluse. We have them wait 'til ladybug season! -- ticks, rattlesnakes, cottonmouth --
