Initially i thought it followed the book fairly well, except for Richard's missing mother. It's a long time since I read the book but the later episodes seemed quite different to me

I agree. The last three episodes departed wildly from the book.

Oh it's a desktop MAC although we have a laptop, but that screen is kind of small my sister says the same thing get a new TV and get Starlink our DIRECTV is horrible absolutely horrible … it's the only thing we can get here we're considered rural . We can't get anything else. Do y'all know I still get just over three speed we have been wired for five but the five was too strong to push through the three cable that's how old all this stuff is out here I mean we're Bell South.
And we're supposed to have storms and tornadoes tomorrow one drop ONE raindrop in our yard and our TV goes out. It's been like this for 12 years.

This is an odd thing we've had Amazon prime for years. Our TV is older and we have an HDMI that goes from the TV to our laptop and that's how we've always watched Amazon Prime but it will not let me watch this new reacher series. It says the HDMI cord needs to be protected or it is protected or maybe the series is protected or Amazon prime is protected ~somethings happened so we've not been able to watch it
I just think that's very odd. I've done it that way for years now we've not watched anything this 2025 year yet. I don't know if I'm supposed to get a new cord or if it's just absolutely something they're not letting me do.

I'm liking it for the most part. I'm wondering why they did away with Mrs. Beck. In the book her abuse at the hands of Paulie was key to making him a truly despicable character who deserved what he got when Reacher finally dispatched him. I'm having a little trouble taking Anthony Michael Hall seriously as a bad guy. I keep seeing his geeky character from those 80's comedies.

So, got around to watching season 3, actually better than the rpevious seasons, half decent acting, 3 episodes in and waiting for the next release
