Anybody planning to by this when it comes out on the 20th? It brings back Susan Turner, who recruits Reacher to go undercover in some small town in CO where bad stuff is happening. Or something like that.

I bought and read it while we were on a short holiday, as you folks across the Atlantic say. I got it because I read a number of reviews saying it more like an old Reacher story than Andrew has written before. I have to admit the reviews were on point, with a couple of caveats. I'm not sure who edits Andrew's Reacher stories, but (and I noticed this with his first one (that one being the only other one of his I've read) they leave in more of the terms that Brits use than were left in in Lee's Reacher stories. I don't know if they're as noticeable to UK readers, but they are to American readers. Well, to one at least. I'll save my other caveat until you've read it, Gis. All in all, I don't regret reading it. In fact, I'm happy to believe that Andrew has perhaps turned a corner in his taking up of Lee's pen.
