In Too Deep

Not sure who has read the 2024 Reacher offering. There only appear to be four of us on here who post regularly so maybe no one

I thought it was OK, bordering on good.

When I read a book by an established author I try t think of it's effect on a reader new to the author. I first discovered Reacher in One Shot. I thought it was brilliant, couldn't wait to source and read all the back issues. Since then I have bought each new one soon after its release. If In Too Deep was my first I don't think it would have had the same effect on me that One Shot did.

However I thought it was a decent read, maybe I'm too easy to please

That's good to hear. His last few haven't been the Reacher I looked forward to. I bought it, downloaded it & my Kindle is dead - we'll see tho.

I wrote my report in the what are you reading section.
I find the Reacher books leave me bewildered and hard for me to keep up with the actual story line.

I read them nowadays just to say i read it, nowhere near as good as in the start

I agree that the newer ones are nowhere near as good as the ones of 15-20 years ago but they are still better than some other stuff that I read (IMO)
