Ok, The Ryder Cup is all about team commitment, camaraderie and loads of other words that describe how a team should work together.
In teh USA you are taught to be the best, the very best but in a singular fashion, so, it's difficult to bring that mindset to a team event, especially when overseas as the home crowd are pro Europe.

It's very obvious the USA team always suffers in Europe, even from the little things like walking to the first tee, together, the European team always have arms around each other for the photo etc the USA team just do not give out that team feeling.

So, in my opinion, USA struggles to win here.

Watched The Ryder Cup "pre game" WOW -- I didn't know this was the norm. Tried to catch it yesterday - better luck today I hope.

Watching the Solheim cup, it's been a bit up and down but they are tied 8 each going into today's singles matches

Well, i play off 6 handicap, but, given the 2 surgeries on my thumbs gave me a fair bit of pain, i played poorly as expected.
But, had a great time.
Home now, only took 10 hours door to door

Exactly, Sunday, finals day will be at a friends BBQ, so, good day ahead.
As for the hand, yep, i've got full movement in my fingers with no pain which is great, the thumb is in a cast so can't tell how that is.
