Did y'all watch the Kentucky Derby? Next Preakness: May 21st 6:50 CST (Belmont June 11). I picked my horses (as I do every year) by their color HA. all the dark/bay horses. BUT when we saw that shiny copper horse - wow! he was a looker & winner turns out Rich Strike.

I saw the recap of the Derby! Wow, that was like a movie finale kind of race! I had to play it back 5 or 6 times to figure out how Rich Strike went from the back to the front to win in the last 1/3 to 1/4 of the race. 80-1 odds! I wonder how many people bet on that horse? I'm still SMH over this finish. Incredible

No this is odd. We normally have a mild Spring & Fall. Keep in mind tho our 80-88 weather now is so nice, pleasant! Such good getting started on ur garden, plants- landscape weather!!! Tomatoes go in the ground first week of May. Don't plant anything until after April 15 (after the last frost) BUT! August September
Any new - on ur house hunting???

Oh my goodness I thought I/we was/were in the weather discussion yes absolutely you need to know how to make a mint julep. You need to see the Tennessee walking horses grand old Opry go downtown go to concerts. Learn how to say y'all and what's over yonder and my favorite learn how to shoot mistletoe out of a tree with a 22 rifle. I know they say a southern woman is always ready for company, but you would never go to a southern woman's house without her knowing ~ then it's a full spread.!!!

We've already done some of that, so we're a little ahead of the game maybe, except in the house hunting department. We're waiting to get there before we get serious.
