He was a back up QB at USC his entire college career. He was actually the first QB in history to start a game in the NFL without ever starting a game at QB in college. His claim to fame in the pros was as the back up that stepped in for Tom Brady after Brady went down for the season back in 2008. He had a great year but was traded to KC the following year and then made the Pro Bowl for them. After 3 yrs starting for the Chiefs he was traded to the Vikings then the Bills. Obviously a journeyman QB, but made tons of dough after his great year with the Pats.

Cowboys got him from Buffalo, Meg. I don't know where he was before that.

Now that you've mentioned it I understand why RGIII wouldn't be a good fit for the Cowboys, Style....Dallas traded for quarterback Matt Cassel, whom I've never heard of....Weeden can't read defenses like Tony can either, but then I don't suppose he's had the experience Tony has.

Thanks for not rubbin it in guys...

Griffin would not work well in Dallas. He needs an option offense which is not what Dallas runs. They are a straight drop back, play action offense. Weeden actually fits it ok but doesn't have the "escapability" that made Romo effective.

Yes! That's exactly what we need. A "pout sign." Gismo, help. I'm afraid I'm going to be doing a lot of pouting this year what with the Cowboys and Texas Longhorns....I'm already pouting about the Atlanta Braves' terrible year.

There was an article by a sportswriter in this morning's paper that suggested "Jerry Jones should get on the phone to the Washington Redskins owner and trade for Robert Griffin III right now. He said Griffin needed a change of scenery, and the Cowboys needed a quarterback who brings more to the table than Brandon Weeden. Griffin is currently third on the depth chart behind Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy." ....I think RGIII would certainly bring some excitement to the stadium; whether he'd be able to do any more than that - I don't know.

I'm not going to mention that our Cowboys beat Style's Eagles in spite of Tony having to leave the game with a broken collar bone. Nope, not going to say that. Oops.
I missed him getting hurt...I didn't get to see the game until near the end of the 3rd quarter.
And nope we won't rub it in Style!

The 'Boys were lucky last night. The Giants scored 17 points off of Cowboy give-a-ways. It also helped that Tony was pretty awesome in the last minute and thirty eight seconds on that go ahead touchdown drive.
