I need arbitration. My wife insists on Tivoing both Dancing With The Stars and The Voice (can only record two shows at once...how primitive) on Monday nights, leaving me to watch Big Bang Theory on a small TV in one of the bedrooms, or online later.

The only recorder is on the tv that I watch, Dave watches his tv in the family room and knows how to play a DVD on it but has absolutely no idea how to program the recorder on my tv, he hates all the techy things with a passion, doesn't even like using the pre-programmed numbers on the telephone so there's no disagreement about taping shows.

I absolutely hate the reality shows like the Voice etc and dancing with the stars is, in my humble opinion, gut wrenchingly awful, add x - factor and big brother and my life is devastated, thank goodness i have my own dvr in my man cave

I haven't watched dancing with the stars in years. I watched the first few seasons. Last time I remember watching was when Emmitt Smith was on it & won!! I figured it would be downhill from there & I wanted to 'end' on a high note!

Nice...a man cave. We all have to have somewhere to go & call our own.

And speaking of that … if I can get this to download (I'm having the same issues as LD) this is my Simon's new favorite spot. I guess she figures if I'm ring to stare THAT way she might as well get in on it HA-HA!

Once the riff raff are cleared out during the first half of the season, I actually enjoy watching DWTS and even The Voice. There are some amazing performances. Bindi Irwin (the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin's daughter) is a joy to watch, in fact.

You can't watch a third channel while two others are recording, Dan? I'm not up on Tivo. Or perhaps your wife doesn't like The Big Bang Theory and you're banished to the bedroom to watch it?
