My son lives in Brisbane and they are expecting horrendous weather tomorrow. Winds approaching 100 mph and 40 inches of rain in a few hours.

Wow! When we get wind like that, we get fires. That's what happened here 2 months ago. From what I hear, Australia gets fires the way we do, but 40 inches of rain in a few hours? That's insane! It would take us 3 or 4 years to get 40" of rain with average rainfall. Whoa! That's some wind! I bet it would be nice to travel in Australia ~ it was in our Bucket List until Steve Irwin passed. And now we just don't want to fly any more.
We had terrible winds Tuesday thru — now it's still windy! We have some clapboards that are off.
