They are used to humidity, we have lots of that here in Ontario. I think they are heading for Disneyland, Conlan's favourite place, he's our autistic grandchild, just loves it there. They usually rent a house with a swimming pool so they are able to cool off.

I spent last week in Alaska on a cruise. The weather reports leading up to departure day made it sound like it was going to be mostly rain everyday, but it wasn't. The first day was in Juneau and it rained some but we went on a hike to a waterfall and it didn't rain at all. We ended up stuffing our raingear in our day packs. Back in town it rained some more, but let up in time for us to enjoy Juneau's annual 4th of July midnight fireworks show. It rained a little the next day in Glacier Bay National Park, but we had to stay on the boat anyway. If we went out on the decks there were plenty of places to get out of the rain and keep our cameras dry. In Sitka, Ketchikan, and Victoria BC, the weather was gorgeous! Shirt sleeves and shorts if you so desired. Wish we could've brought the weather back with us. In So Cal it's in the upper 80s, low 90s and high (for us) humidity.sigpic The rules are: There ain't no rules.Comment
