That had me wondering GIS, YB - do y'all have anything like this over there? poisonous spiders, deadly snakes ... wild animals running loose?

OH MG. if you've ever seen what their bite can do -- well I'm terrified. We've had MANY in this house. It was empty 2 years before we moved in, built in 1968...we don't if it was that or new landscaping, new garage that we built or turning the attached garage into a den. After 2 years BAM! SOMETHING ...

We've heard stories about the brown recluse spiders. Our neighbor was just telling my wife tonight about finding more than a dozen recently when he was cleaning his windows (his AC was out for a couple of days, so he opened his windows).

Sorry I've been a little MIA. We're still unpacking and figuring out new normals on so many different levels! So many things we aren't used to, not the least of which is the weird bugs all y'all have out here, 4A! A few days ago I found a walking stick crawling on a rake handle. First one I've ever seen in person! Very cool!

Been away for a few days, had friends over from the USA and also a boys weekend golfing, so, back to normal now, we got plenty rain now

Nice that ur getting out! Glad she came in. IT's way too hot. It does this about this time very year tho. NOT fun. I was there when I as very young. Falls Creek Falls, Edger Evans Dale Hollow. ALL very pretty.

We're still unpacking, but taking breaks to explore stuff. The day before our daughter flew back to CA, we went to Rock Island State Park. That's a beautiful park, although we only saw the area right around Twin Falls.

Still cutting & hauling off that big Oak tree that fell. Not much is going on. Waiting for cooler weather.
