Not at our house, don’t inow anyone who has it. Dave and are just staying home except he may go to the store on his scooter. Schools are closed, March Break, local church closed, will contact parishioners by phone or e-mail, mayors advising no large group meetings, wash hands frequently. Our son, wife and son will probably have to go into self isolation when they return from a vacation in the States as a precaution. They
can still go for walks but not associate with other people.

Today ... our county and surrounding counties are closed. As most of the rest of the country - our stores are out of many things. No panic I've Seen. But our entertainment industry is taking a hit. We have the essentials but did before all this. I've had a doctors appointment and Kevin too and NOW I'm waiting on a pulmonary function study & chest Xray .... but do I want to go?? Luckily we don't HAVE to go anywhere ... we're good here.
Plz everyone stay safe. And Healthy.

So far only the empty store shelves are affecting my wife and I. My mom is in a senior community which is officially on lockdown after dinner tonight. No visitors, residents are being served meals in their "apartments", very limited activities available.sigpic The rules are: There ain't no rules.

Our local & NEW Dollar General Store has been a life saver since they opened - 1/2 mile away! They are our go to for cat needs, milk & Mexican Cokes. This morning she said yeah, a truck was coming but she's the ONLY one working & she can't unload AND run the register so the supplies will just sit. (and yes they are called Cokes de Mexico ... it's the old fashion cokes we used to buy - like in the 70's) NO sugar restrictions & they're delicious! Son delicioso

Corona is hitting harder here. Whilst I don't know anyone who has the virus but normal life is very much affected. all schools and colleges now closed. All bars and restaurants closed. No sport taking place.
Shortages on the shelves at the food stores (although this is due to people buying far more than they need rather than actual shortages). Nobody knows when it will all end. My son was planning a holiday to Croatia in August, he's just been told the flight is cancelled, four months away.

Gotta be careful out there. I’ve been home mostly... left the house on Sunday (to go to my parents )but it’s been 2 weeks since I’ve gotten out ... some things were running low on ... BUT get in a panic when we’re low on cat food crown & cokes! Ha!
Stay safe y’all [emoji40]

Dave goes to the store on his scooter to get things we are short of, we usually have ordered groceries delivered but the place we order from was deluged by new customers so had difficulty placing order. Finally got through to them but groceries won’t be delivered until March 31 because of volume of customers.

Fortunately none of those close to us have caught this nasty virus. However its not good when you are unable to socialise with them.
On the plus side, if this had happened say 20-25 years ago the only way of keeping in touch would have been by phone, now we can at least see each other with things like Facetime.
Another positive is that with the decent dry weather everyone has been working outside, gardens are tidy, fences painted etc

Yep ... TN, USA hasn't been THAT strict - most people are wearing masks. Restaurants, movies, salons, etc, ARE closed but good news ... restaurants can open at 50% - no bar area seating and then it will progress each week!
IMO - this has been blown up/out ... rant rant rant ... never mindLast edited by 4AMNTN; 30-04-2020, 01:18 AM.
