This and I believe the last book about the "daughter", I didn't like either one. There was a book 3-4 back I didn't care for either. Maybe it's me. But just like Patricia Cornwell ... The books seem to lose focus of what MADE them great in the first place. I am concerned about Reacher's headaches….and now HE'S inviting a woman along??!! I thought back about half way thru that they were selling the people. I was kinda wrong. just weird.

Will not be finishing this book, once it got into digging around in the Deep Web it was a turnoff for me.

I don't understand the deep web and knew nothing about it but had to google it as I found it fascinating.

The Deep Web stuff was interesting to me. And the book ended up in a way I wasn't expecting. This was closer to some of the earlier Reacher stories than the more recent ones have been, at least IMO. It generated some good suspense.

I usually get to about 3/4 through a book and wonder how on earth is this going to come together and work itself out. This didn't disappoint me. A non typical ending too, which was good.

I'm leaning towards Mo's thoughts … I haven't read on this book in 2 nights. the first night I was going thru it pretty fast & then … IDK.

Really glad to know that 4A - was beginning to wonder if maybe I needed an attitude adjustment. It would be interesting to hear some other comments about what people liked or didn't care for. I started off thinking that I was really going to enjoy the book and by the time I got to 73% on the Kindle I was getting a kind of ho-hum feeling and wondering where it was all going. The Deep Web statistics finished it for me.

We seem to be doing a lot of travelling around with not much being achieved so far, maybe get to a more exciting bit shortly.

I was thinking kinda the same . This book is VERY descriptive, projects, assumptions made, etc. it's kinda filling the pages! 66% so far

Have started in on Make Me and it looks promising, I like the description of how Reacher is so methodical when he's looking for a specific location. Am certainly intrigued about what could be happening in this town.
