Enjoy the weather Gis, spend time in the pool, wish we had one, temp on outside kitchen thermometer registering 95F plus humidity on top of that to take it to a hot and sticky 100 plus. Roll on Fall.

Yea! It finally rained. Our immediate front yard looked like the desert. And this weekend? YES! Our high is 71 & lows 47, oh yeah!

We have a bright and breezy day, the heat and humidity has vanished (we hope) and the temp at night is down so sleeping is comfortable.

We finally got some rain yesterday--first since July. Not enough to dent the drought, but will help keep my lawn from burning all the way brown.

yuk Dan I know what you mean ( in a way). Our grass "crunches" when you walk on it - that is if you don't choke on the dust first!
