For those of you over in Europe. WATCH OUT my nephew is in the study/credits abroad this month of May. Landed in Amsterdam there for 2 weeks, now he sends me pictures of Paris .. I'm like What???? Today he's gonna Chunnel to London? ... to hit Abby Road for me & sight see. So proud of this guy! 4.0 his first 2 years of college - Mich. State. Going to LA to study/work/credits for 6 months after this. Last summer he went to Hawaii for a month to study/credits. ****Where was this kind of college when I was young?
And yep, first night in Amsterdam off to the red light district, sent me a picture of "real live porn"right here. Ahhh to be young :") ha!Comment

Trying to stay on an even keel, seem to be having many arguments with my once quiet husband. He's making up for the years he said very little and now can become quite argumentative without too much coaxing. Better he should stay out in his gardening area in the back yard where he's happiest and I'll putter around the house and do the crossword. So glad I can escape into my reading, it's a lifesaver.Comment

Oh Mo. I hear ya! I don't know how my parents do it. Married 57 years next month. Dad was put on Lyrica a few years back & man ol man is he confrontational! I've told mom to ween him off that... IMO it's bad news. Yes, she too stays out in the yard & now he seems to favor TV.
I'm glad you enjoy your gardening & books ... I do too! PLUS - cats. And your bird feeder??? Any news birds?Comment

Not often we get different birds but occasionally we see a goldfinch - really pretty birds. But we do get cardinals, bluejays, nuthatches, chickadees and a multitude of sparrows.Comment

Orioles are new for us; just the last 2 years. BlueJays are bothersome birds & we’ve had them closer than ever this year. We have 3 red belly or yellow bellied sap suckers every day this year. But our bluebirds have been absent.
Yea! Our little chipmunks have returned!!!

Roseanne's show was very popular (both the original and new one) and I thought pretty funny, but she, as a person, is and always was an idiot.Comment

Mo, I watched Roseanne then and now...show is funny, but like most in Hollywood, I think they're idiots. But like 4A said...others have said some things just as offensive and keep their jobs...Samantha Bee, Bill Maher, Kathy Griffin, and whoever it was at the media luncheon who was making fun of Sarah Sanders.
I haven't been reading much...been crocheting a couple blankets for a kids camp here in FL who host kiddos with cancer. They all get to go home with a blanket and a bear.Comment
