      And the

Day without Women. Did we need it? Did we need women not showing up at work? If they weren't going seems like the reported cases- the few- didn't tell the boss. This is the argument OR stance? Now what does that say to you?
I think Everyday a woman is needed & this day was just an excused Hype to a people that have time to care & argue .... who has that time? I' m needed ... period. Nuff said.

Again with me being totally out of the loop, I hadn't heard about this. Like you 4A, I know I'm needed and appreciated.

Ahh just heard that this is women's history month. Don't care for that term OR black history month. How about HISTORY. Learn it -- learn from it!
I could get up on my soapbox all day about the way women have been treated throughout the years. Among others.
          Oh well ...

Not really a rant BUT ... the lines last night were brutal. We got in line WITH AN ISSUED TICKET NUMBER around 4:30. Oh! people had been there since dark the morning before. Anyway ... in an hour we moved less than a football field AND we STILL had about 8-10 more "fields" to go. Needless to say we DIDN'T GET IN. We walked in the door at home and he just came on TV. So we watched it there. ha! There was only ONE entry point.. guessing there was less than 4-6 people checking for security??? Too many people not enough security help. We know they turned down the TBI's offer for help. Duh ... it was a bad location for the total number of people. He should have had the Bridgestone Arena or Titans stadium!!! Maybe charged for tickets & then had a bigger venue. yep. And the BS about 1,000 protesters?? Nope. less than a handful total that we saw & we drove around the auditorium.

Just a dumb question but it baffles me that Mr. Trump tells so many things that are hard to believe but this doesn't seem to bother his supporters, why? It was Trump you were going to see wasn't it? Really curious.

Yes. Ahhh, but the things he says that ARE true? and the things he's accomplished // or the have happened since the election? No one wants to acknowledge the good with the "bad".

I agree: If we don't start looking out for America (better) then when / if we have a real crisis ... WHO WILL BENEFIT from the Arts? people want to b & moan about NPR, PBS but they actually have a less than 0.0012 % of funding alotted or something crazy like that. We have expenditures for 800Million and they, the NEA, use 200??? What the hell do they do with the rest? And WHOA! the average income for the NEA???? 98k ! And back to the theatrical Arts does ANYONE remember how they suffered after 9/11? They, again the NEA get Federal, local & state PLUS, public & private funding. I think they'll be ok. Why don't these BIG SHOT that have benefitted from the ARTS all these years chip in MORE????
saw something on twitter about this that just really set me off, sorry.

It will be interesting to see what Congress does with the budget.

Yes & Mo. I don't mean to come off so strong but I'm just embarrassed for/of the way that people treat the president it's a disgrace to the office.

I haven't paid much attention to what was IN the healthcare plan-- but I would want to pay only for care that benefits me. No maternity no dental no glasses I don't want to pay for your Viagra and you shouldn't have to pay for my birth control etc. seems like in the 80s you could pick and choose what you wanted on your plan is that right?
Kinda like what I want to do with my TV plan[emoji2]

I think the idea of Health Insurance is that everyone pays and those that need it have access to it and those that don't help pay for those others. Don't forget 4A, many young people have no health problems but as you get older you may need more health care and older people who are healthy are still helping pay for those older people with health problems that way the risk is spread over everyone who participates in the plan. In Canada health care is universal, everyone pays a premium. No one knows what help they may need and if you limit what you want to pay for it may not cover something that strikes like cancer which may need long term care. That is my understanding anyway. The extreme right didn't want to pay for many things that were in the Affordable Care Act and some of the moderate Republicans were wanting some of these terms included in their Health Care Bill. I think if the moderate Dems and the moderate Republicans can get together they should be able to put together a Health Act which improves on Obamacare and everyone can get access to coverage. At least it would be nice if that could happen. One of the problems that I can see is that the extreme right Republicans simply wanted to repeal Obamacare without a replacement but Trump promised repeal and replace. It's really difficult to get everyone on the same page.

I've said it over & over ... Don't change our history - learn from it. It's a disgrace what's going on.
